Hello, friend!
I’m so thankful you’ve found your way to this space.
This site is where I share the things I love and the things I’ve learned.
It is where I share about my faith, and the simple lessons that have allowed my to draw close to the Lord, and know and love Him in deep ways.
But it is also meant to be a resource for you.
As I am growing nearer to the Lord, I’m learning that I am to be a good steward in all things: money, time, energy; belongings, relationships, words; the earth, my body, my spirit… I am learning new and different ways in which to fulfill this, as it looks different for each category/focus. But I’m finding that this stewardship doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, it becomes easier when you realize that it’s all linked- making changes in one area will inevitably, over time, prompt changes in others.
I stumbled across a quote from Maya Angelou recently that goes:
“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better”.
Well, in the past couple years, I’ve learned about things that have opened my eyes to “know better”- and so now I’m trying to do better.
I want you to know better, too. So, I’m going to show you how simple it can be, and teach you about these cool things I’m learning. In addition to faith-based content, you will find posts about healthy habits, low-waste living and sustainability, minimalism and intentionality, as well as product and brand reviews to help you shop more responsibly.
I’m on a journey to less. A journey away from “the way we’ve always done it”, to cultivate an unhurried life where I have the time to take my time. But it is a journey- I’m not finished, and I don’t know it all. And so I’m also journeying to embrace grace upon grace. Because we’re all just doing the best we can with what we have.
As this space is where I am able expose my vulnerabilities a bit, I pray that you feel safe to arrive and share in a similar way.
