Small Business Spotlight: GraceUnfaded | Product Review + Discount Code

I love discovering businesses and brands that are committed to creating quality products. I’m so much more likely to buy from them when they prioritize people and service, and do their work as unto the Lord, seeking to honor Him in their interactions and practices.

Something else I love about finding businesses like this is getting to share them with you, so that you don’t have to search for hours and hours for brands that not only create quality items, but also align with your values and priorities.

For me, over the last year or so, a priority I have held when shopping includes supporting small and local businesses.

Well, GraceUnfaded fits the bill! All while making us girls look great with earrings that are affordable, cute, and versatile!

Who is GraceUnfaded?

Let me tell you a little bit about GraceUnfaded, and why it is a business you should support if you’re in need of some fun jewelry.

GraceUnfaded is an up-and-coming earring brand, located in Northwest Washington state, and run by an awesome mama named Christa.

Christa not only makes all the earrings herself, but makes all of her clays from scratch as well. This involves mixing the colors, rolling, cutting, shaking, baking, sanding, drilling, and attaching the necessary hardware! Whew- that wears me out just thinking about it!

For leather earrings, she designs and creates those from various leather hides. And for acrylic and brass earrings, she assembles those at home as well.

One reason I love GraceUnfaded is this handmade component- you can be confident when shopping that each piece was carefully designed and created with love and is well constructed.

Christa may design and construct the earrings, but otherwise, GraceUnfaded could be considered a family business. Each family member is involved in various tasks and responsibilities- they help with design ideas, packaging, modeling, and marketing on social media and the website. As a unit they have been working hard together to ensure that GraceUnfaded is getting exposure and offering excellent customer service.

Christa’s goal for GraceUnfaded isn’t based on profits or success- another super admirable characteristic. She only wants to give glory to the Lord and use her platform to share about the grace that Jesus has offered us through His death on the cross. She wants to point customers to Christ, and share about His presence being with us throughout all of life’s seasons.

Christa was very generous and let me pick out a couple pairs of earrings to try, and share about with you all. They arrived in less than a week, and were beautifully packaged with handwritten thank you notes.

The three pairs of earrings that you see are the styles I selected. The leather tassels were actually a gift for my mom for Mother’s Day. I’m keeping a pair for myself, and then the third pair is being saved for an upcoming surprise.

I love these leather earrings because they’re great if you’re not used to wearing dangly earrings- they’re subtle and understated, and light enough you hardly feel you’re wearing earrings at all. And the leather is so soft! Great if your style is pretty minimal.

These studs are also awesome if your style is very minimal. They’re super light, and almost disappear when you’re wearing them. They’re nice if you want to wear earrings and so feel like your look or outfit is complete, but not want to have your earrings distract from the rest of your pieces.

Now, this pair of earrings is my favorite. At first, I thought they’d be a little more bold than I would like to wear, but once I tried them on, I really loved them! They’re fun and different than the pairs I already have, and yet still not too flashy. I like the minimal look of the white clay, and the extra something that the gold details add.

You can tell just by holding these earrings that they are well constructed, and not super fragile like other pairs you may have. Of course, being made of clay, leather, and brass, they do need to be cared for in order to maintain their quality (how to do this is explained on a Product Care card included in every order). You don’t have to be afraid of these falling apart on you.

I love the timeless, yet unique, style of each pair and how they can be dressed up or down depending on the look you’re going for!

You can find a wide variety of styles available to buy on GraceUnfaded’s website.
